Now Hazel needs YOUR help!

Hazel Bennett, a regular contributor to SBC events, has completed the EU funded WorkingSkills project, which helped many members with developing business skills. She is taking a sabbatical year while deciding on her next project, and spent January working in Thailand as a volunteer teacher in remote Isan.

She has now been selected as project manager (again voluntary, paying all her own expenses) in Costa Rica/Nicaragua for Raleigh International in the autumn. Raleigh is a long established, well-run charity, developing essential leadership and life skills, under challenging conditions, in young people from varied backgrounds. Hazel’s role will be to empower them to learn from experience. Local people establish what projects will help the needs of communities and environments.
She must raise £2000 for Raleigh to make these happen.

She says “The UK desperately needs innovative and effective young people in our workforce. This is an excellent opportunity for them to build confidence and find capabilities while helping others. I do hope you can spare even a little to make it happen
